Combining technology with science allowed Sound Scouts to create a fun, clinically validated app to check for hearing issues. Chief Scientist, Dr Harvey Dillon, the former Director of NAL, now Professor at Macquarie University and University of Manchester, ensured the app incorporated the key metrics to assess functional hearing with the aim of ensuring children could hear to learn in a noisy classroom.

The Sound Scouts app checks for three different types of hearing issues including middle ear, or conductive hearing loss. Middle ear issues occur when something interferes with sound travelling to the inner ear and can include ear wax build-up.

CleanEars Kids will gently free the family’s ears from ear wax build-up. A safer alternative to cotton buds, CleanEars Kids is applied via a non-intrusive spray nozzle. It dissolves ear wax and irrigates the ear canal with its dual action formula containing natural ingredients. CleanEars Kids is suitable for babies aged 2 months and over.
