Sound Scouts: SXSW 2019 Pediatric Health Pitch Finalist

Sound Scouts was named a finalist in the Impact Pediatric Health Startup Pitch Competition at SXSW 2019, competing in the Digital Health category.

Impact Pediatric Health is an annual pitch competition at South by Southwest dedicated to showcasing the best pediatric healthcare innovations. The 2019 competition was hosted by the nation’s leading pediatric hospitals, with twelve finalists competing across Digital Health, Medical Devices, and Health Disparities and Equity.

The event was held on Friday, 8 March 2019 at the Startup Village in the Hilton Downtown Austin, open to all Interactive and Platinum SXSW badge holders.

Sound Scouts competed alongside eleven other innovative health technology companies from around the world, with winners selected across each category by a panel of industry experts and representatives from sponsoring children’s hospitals.

This followed Sound Scouts’ win of the Health and Wearable Technology category at the 2017 SXSW Accelerator competition.
